MUSIC HEALS

MUSIC HEALS is written by Funke Oyebanjo, founding member of Talawa Theatre Writer Group and screenwriter of Channel Four’s THE WINDOW. Funke currently has two feature projects in development at Impression Films and a children’s comedy series with Smile Television.

When Nigel is commissioned by a ruthless celebrity to make a “brutally honest” famine-appeal film, he heads to Africa and unwittingly becomes embroiled a vortex of a civil war. MUSIC HEALS takes a snapping satirical look at the aid industry, the power of celebrities and the impact news-hungry reporters have on the continent.
